- Analyze and recommend awarding of subcontractors to allow for phased construction lead time, taking into consideration such factors as time performance, availability of labor, or overlapping trade jurisdiction.
- Value engineering drawings and specification to eliminate areas of conflict and overlapping in the work to be performed by the various contractors.
- Prepare pre-qualification criteria for selecting bidders.
- Aggressively develop contractor interest in the project through telephone and pre-bid advertisement/meetings.
- Solicit, receive and analyze competitive bids, making recommendations to owner for contract awards.
